What's YOUR 'after'?

For 25 years, I had various visions of what "after" would look like for me.

When I was a teenager, my "after" looked like a 115-lb body with super skinny arms and a visible collarbone. I never got there.  As I got older, my "after" was a more fit version...very lean with ripped abs. I got there but it didn't last long.

But no matter what the vision was, it was almost always based on my physical self. It was a destination that I needed to get to as quickly as possible with all the self-punishment I could inflict.

It wasn't until recently that I became clear that the way I looked wasn't the most important thing about me. It's taken a lot of time and hard work...and it's all been worth it.

So, I ask you: what's YOUR after?

I'm not talking about how you'll LOOK when you get to your "ideal" size.

I'm asking how you'll FEEL when you finally stop chasing food perfection and the number on the scale.

How will you THINK once you stop following other people's food rules and start doing what works for you?

What will you DO in your life when you realize you don't have to be a size 4 to make an impact in the world?

You may believe that your after is a smaller, more fit, less fat body...

That may be part of your story, it may not be.

This is what I know is TRUE: it's not the most important part.

You know what matters?

What matters is that you ACCEPT who you are...right HERE, right NOW.

What matters is that you feel FREE to eat, live, and exercise in a way that nourishes your whole self...body, MIND, and SOUL.

I know this to be true because I've done it for myself and many other women who felt trapped in a cycle of confusing food rules and chronic body dissatisfaction

If you aren't at your "after" yet, it's NOT because you're eating the wrong foods, or not working out 6 days a week.

You may not be at your "after" because you:

  • haven't done the difficult emotional work required to change your beliefs
  • believe that "after" is a destination that you need to get to as quickly as possible. (spoiler alert: it's NOT)
  • believe the FREEDOM you want is not possible for you

I'm here to tell you that it is possible.
